Duesenberg are quickly becoming the go-to guitar for tone devotees who want a guitar that was built just for them. Each one is made to order so you can guarantee the guitar you receive is fresh from the hands of a master craftsman. This semi-hollow double cut model has a vintage style finish and professionally setup hardware. This, combined with a stunning set of pickups, makes for a truly top end guitar.
Duesenberg do not cut corners when it comes to building their guitars. From their custom made hardware to the wood choice and the craftsmanship that goes into brining it all together they are hard to match. This guitar is part of their Artist Line and as such it is a bit more special than your standard Doozy with some unique appointments that are not often found anywhere else.
Starting off at the body you have a laminated spruce top on top of laminated maple back and sides with a solid sustain block running through the guitar. This not only gives this guitar an almost acoustic-like amount of dynamics but almost completely eliminates the feedback issues that you often get with hollow-bodied guitars.
All their fretboards are carefully pleked and finished by hand for optimum playability and the smooth feel they are famous for. The neck has been carved out of a single piece of maple into their signature D shaped profile that fits wonderfully in the hands without feeling too chunky or too thin. Topped off with Indian rosewood for the fretboard cut off into 22 frets at a 25.5" scale length. After you get your hands round this neck you will fall in love.
If you know Duesenberg you know that they want to control everything that goes into their guitars. All their instruments are fitted with their own hardware, which you will only find on a Duesenberg. They design it with attention to even the smallest details to create truly unique instruments from tuner buttons to jack plates. This is to make sure that they can deliver the exact guitar they want at a great price and it also means that everything is made bespoke for the guitar you have. From the split shaft style Z-Tuners to their deluxe Tremola everything has been purposefully designed for performance and style.
Duesenberg are most famous for one perticular sound and a lot of that comes from their signature pickups. The Domino P90 and Grand Vintage Humbucker pickups are made by Duesenberg in house with components sourced by them and known to be of the best quality around. Everything from the wire to the magnets and even casings are all made out of top quality materials not found anywhere else so you can get the same blues rock sound that has captured a generation of players.
The Fullerton C.C. is a big body, semi hollow, dual pickup, 22 fret electric thinline guitar, featuring arched top and back, bent sides and a 647mm scale. The construction of the Fullerton C.C. is similar to that of the Starplayer TV but is designed for those who like a big body guitar. For the Fullerton line, we changed our classic body shapes to a double-cutaway design.
Some say it all started in Fullerton, California – where Leo Fender built his first electric guitar. Well, we agree – and now the Duesenberg Fullerton has become one of the iconic guitars in the Duesenberg lineup.
The Fullerton Series incorporates the same careful selection of spruce and maple for the main body parts as on many other of our instruments. The laminated arched spruce top is combined with flamed maple bent sides and arched back, while the neck is made from American Hardrock maple.
For the cutting leads and heavy riffs, we took our proven combination of our own classicly wound GrandVintage Humbucker and our open Domino P90 Singlecoil for airy chords and creamy licks.
All our instruments are fitted with our own hardware, which you will only find on a Duesenberg. We design it with attention to even the smallest details to create truly unique instruments from tuner buttons to jack plates.
All our fretboards are carefully pleked and finished by hand for optimum playability and the smooth feel they are famous for.
Additionally, our Diamond Deluxe Tremola proved to be one of the best of its kind, providing buttery operation and outstanding tuning stability.
Together with the Starplayer TV Fullerton, the Fullerton C.C. is part of our double-cutaway Fullerton line and is available in a beautiful all-over Vintage White which includes every part of the guitar from top to neck.
Additionally, the instrument features deluxe details such as the metal D-Logo on the headstock, a 5-ply custom binding and a black and gold pickguard.
We would be happy to make yours.
