The Galaxy 32 Synergy Core sets a new performance standard in its class by expanding the capabilities of the Orion 32 line with Dante audio networking and Synergy Core processing. Designed for professional recording studios and high-profile production and broadcasting facilities, the interface offers 32 channels of analog I/O with mastering grade AD/DA conversion and clocking as well as industry standard HDX and Thunderbolt for easy integration with your setup.
The multi-channel box allows you to connect all your gear into an 1U rack-mountable chassis. Aside from taking on the role of a patch bay, the interface handles all routing, recording, and monitoring and allows you to easily interconnect multiple rooms. Placing the Galaxy 32 Synergy Core as the hub of your setup means less complexity and pristine conversion for all connected gear.
With comprehensive surround and immersive monitoring control and speaker calibration functionality for up to 16 channels, or 9.1.6 Dolby Atmos, the Galaxy 32 Synergy Core is the perfect interface for any surround or immersive audio setup.
The interface utilizes Dante to seamlessly fit into your existing audio-over-IP network, or as the foundation of your very first network for digital audio transfer. With Galaxy 32 Synergy Core as the hub of your interconnected system you have 64 channels of audio via Dante as well as the entire I/O of the device available at all times. Simply connect a LAN Ethernet cable and your entire facility becomes a beneficiary of the interface’s features and conversion. A secondary, mirrored port is also available for redundancy.
Galaxy 32 Synergy Core integrates seamlessly with Pro Tools through two HDX ports and allows you to maintain 64 I/O channels even at 192kHz, thanks to a unique FPGA configuration. That means, you will no longer need to stack up additional hardware to record and mix so many channels at such a high sample rate. Combined with HD Native or HDX’s low latency monitoring and delay compensation for hardware inserts, the Galaxy 32 Synergy Core’s extensive connectivity and pristine conversion make your Pro Tools system as formidable as it gets.
With Galaxy 32 Synergy Core you can capture your recordings with flawless precision and no coloration, and monitor your mix with mastering-grade quality. Utilizing the same 64-bit AFC™ clocking from high-end master clocks like the Isochrone Trinity guarantees the quality of the AD/DA conversion, which over the years has proven irreplaceable for some of the most acclaimed studios in the world. This makes the interface the essential source of true sound every professional audio engineer needs.
The control panel is your tool to get things done efficiently with features like drag and drop routing, simultaneous use of all digital ports, and direct low latency monitoring with onboard effects. It is all accessible via the control panel in an easy‑to‑navigate, customizable layout. Every functionality and feature of the interface works in unison to make your workflow better.
The signal routing of the Galaxy 32 Synergy Core boils down to a simple drag and drop of the color-coded analog and digital inputs and outputs. With the virtual patch-bay you can distribute a single source to multiple destinations at the same time for creative routing scenarios which can be saved as presets for later use. Once the cables go into the interface, cable management is one less thing to worry about in the studio.
The Galaxy 32 Synergy Core is the only interface that allows you to use the Thunderbolt, Dante, HDX, MADI and ADAT ports all at once within a single hardware frame. The channel count of the individual ports remains the same when using them simultaneously and is available at all times. This gives you the flexibility to work in Pro Tools over HDX and another DAW application over Thunderbolt while using a total of up to 598 channels of I/O at the same time.
The four onboard low-latency stereo mixers with 32 input channels each, can be split into individual cue mixes and sub-mixes, that allow you to adjust levels and panning while applying reverb and other effects. This makes the mixers ideal for monitoring and summing.
Record and monitor with analog-modeled effects processed with imperceptible latency in real-time. This feature allows you to use the onboard effects as you would use outboard effects – processing your sound directly on the way in, thus committing to your sound early in the process.
The interface uses a proprietary client/server system, which allows you to work without being plugged into a computer once you establish connection to a local network. This feature is ideal when using the I/O and conversion of the interface for live recording.
Create custom presets by adjusting signal routing, levels, audio mixers, and effects. Everything can be custom configured for individual recording sessions, live events, and pre/post-production sessions. Preset files can be shared across multiple studios and devices to ease workload and optimize the production process.
The onboard Synergy Core platform gives you access to a wide variety of effects modeled after iconic studio equipment. They can be applied in real-time during monitoring, post-production, and live recording with latency far below the threshold of noticeability and no host CPU load. The onboard Synergy Core contains the processing power of a complex multi-rack setup which enables you to load up to 128 instances of your favorite signal processors in a single session. At any time, you can expand your collection by purchasing more analog-modeled effects such as Grove Hill’s Liverpool, and 3rd party effects like Antares’ Auto-Tune.
