Looking for that special Strat? The Fender Rarities Flame Maple Top Stratocaster HSS Thinline is an American-crafted beauty with a unique sound and feature set. For starters, there's that eye-popping flame maple top on a semi-hollow mahogany body. And believe us — even the hi-res photos in Music Experience's Guitar Gallery can't depict how breathtaking it looks in real life. Playability is flawless, thanks to this guitar's Modern C-profile rosewood neck and smooth-as-glass 9.5"-radius rosewood fingerboard with matching headstock. A universe of tone pours from its trio of Custom Shop pickups — two single-coils in the neck and middle positions and a muscular DoubleTap Humbucker at the bridge — while a 2-point Synchronized Tremolo delivers all the vibe of your favorite classics. A 3-ply parchment pickguard and well-aged knobs, covers, and tips max out the stunning visuals of the Fender Rarities Flame Maple Top Stratocaster HSS Thinline.
This Strat's maple-on-mahogany body sports a semi-hollow design that yields a comfortably reduced weight and subtly enhanced resonance and top-end detail. A classic Fender Thinline F-hole along the bass side completes the look.
The Fender Rarities Flame Maple Top Stratocaster HSS Thinline is loaded with a pair of Custom Shop '69 single-coil pickups in neck and middle positions, with a hot DoubleTap humbucker at the bridge to really add some heat to your chord work and solos. From chimey, glassy cleans to searing shred, these pups serve up truckloads of classic and modern tone. This potent sonic elixir is stirred through a 5-way blade pickup selector and two tone controls: one for the neck and middle pickups, and one for the bridge.
Extra-special is this Strat's solid rosewood neck with Modern "C" profile, which imparts warmth, resonance, and luxury like you've never experienced on a Strat before. The Rarities Flame Maple Top Stratocaster HSS Thinline's neck profile is slightly thinner than the vintage Fender '60s "C", which makes it ideal for both thumb-behind and thumb-over players. A 9.5" radius gives the rosewood fingerboard modern player advantages.
No two ways about it: the FenderRarities Flame Maple Top Stratocaster HSS Thinline is drop-dead gorgeous. Adorned with a stunningly figured flame maple top that's complemented by a flawless gloss finish and fitted with a 3-ply parchment pickguard and well-aged knobs, tips, and pickup covers, this semi-hollow is serious eye candy — not to mention ear candy!
Starting in April of 2019, Fender will release a new boutique-style guitar each month. Dubbed the Fender Rarities Series, these guitars feature premium woods, quilted maple tops, f-holes, high-end electronics, and all kinds of eye-popping finishes. The Rarities Series includes various Telecasters, Stratocasters, and a Jazz Bass — a total of nine instruments in all. The guitarists here at Music Experience are digging the uniqueness of these guitars, and we know our customers will, too.
Combining exotic tonewoods with premium pickups and appointments, the limited-edition Rarities Collection creates a truly unique musical experience. The Rarities Flametop Stratocaster® HSS Thinline features a mahogany body with a Violin Burst flame maple top and solid rosewood neck. The Custom Shop 69 single-coil pickups add a breathy, open note to the traditional Strat® voice while the custom Double Tap™ bridge pickup offers both a sweet humbucking voice and— via an S-1 switch—dynamic single-coil sound.
The semi-hollow mahogany body provides a breathy, open tone while the flame maple cap adds elegance to this guitar.
We matched a custom Double Tap™ humbucking pickup with two Custom Shop 69 single-coil pickups for a twist on the classic Fender tone.
The solid rosewood neck not only lends a rich note to the guitar’s voice, it also adds a refined look to the instrument.
The 22-fret “Deep C”-shaped neck is designed to fit your hand comfortably for any style of music.
The S-1 switch activates the Double Tap™ technology, switching from a humbucking voice to powerful single-coil sound.
The Rarities Flametop Stratocaster HSS Thinline includes a deluxe brown hardshell case.
